One of my children’s favorite books is The Days The Crayons Quit, a humorous tale about crayons going on strike, illustrated by artist and writer, Oliver Jeffers. I became smitten with Jeffers’ whimsical style of illustrations and recently discovered his line of wonderful picture books as well as art prints found on his site.
If you enjoy the Days the Crayons Quit or are looking for charming picture books for your children that tell a simple and powerful tale, you’ll love Jeffers’ style of blending art and words together.
Some of my favorites from Jeffers’ collection of picture books are How to Catch a Star, Lost and Found, Stuck and The Incredible Book Eating Boy.
You can see Oliver Jeffers’ entire collection of picture books on his website. Make sure to also check out his wonderful line of free printable puzzles, coloring pages, and paper crafts featuring some of the most beloved characters in his books.
