This easy watercolor art project for kids is mesmerizing to make as well! Kids will love seeing the colors blend together and make beautiful art!
We have the cutest, colorful watercolor painting craft for the kids to make this spring! This colorful, simple watercolor activity can easily be set up for the kids at any time during the day. We used washable watercolor magic liquid watercolors and watercolor paper, as it works best to absorb the watercolor.
What do you need to make this kids’ watercolor painting?
You’ll just need a few supplies, including liquid watercolors, which have a much more vibrant color hue to them, watercolor paper and pipette droppers.
The options for your picture are endless. Some great ideas for spring include a flower like we painted, a tree with new blooms, baby bird, or the the letters SPRING, A sun, umbrella, watering can, plant, or rain cloud are some other fun spring themes!
The kids will want to make more than one, so make sure you have multiple pieces of watercolor paper and pictures handy.
What can you do with your colorful watercolor picture?
Once it’s fully dry, the picture would be very cute as refrigerator art, a gift for a friend, teacher or bus driver, or even a gift for grandma and grandpa.
You could also frame your art print and and it up for spring decor!
