This beautiful Sunflower Shaving Cream fine motor activity is a great way for kids to have fun while working on dexterity! It’s also an awesome sensory experience with its bright sunny colors and the shaving cream in the center. Kids can swirl the shaving cream on top before they add the seeds!
This activity is very easy to do, just cut paper sunflower petals, add shaving cream in the center of the flower, then add black beans as “seeds” for contrast. Your child will love this creative project that helps build hand-eye coordination!
Sunfollower Shaving Cream Fine Motor – Materials:
– Yellow cardstock
– White cardstock
– Pencil
– Scissors
– Double stick tape or glue
– Shaving cream
– Black beans
– Mini tongs (for kids)
SUNFLOWER SHAVING CREAM FINE MOTOR ACTIVITY
Materials
- - Yellow cardstock
- - White cardstock
- - Scissors
- - Double stick tape or glue
- - Shaving cream
- - Black beans
- - Mini tongs (for kids)
Instructions
1. Cut petals large and small from your yellow cardstock. Overlay the smaller ones over the large petals and tape or glue. Then tape or glue down on white cardstock.
2. Add shaving cream to the center of your. Sunflower.
3. Add black beans with tongs or use your fingers as the “sunflower seeds.”
