How to Make a Snow Globe Paper Plate Craft – Step-by-Step Guide
Step One: Print out our Template (it comes with 4 designs and the black base)
To begin, start by printing the template and cutting out the circle. Next, tape or glue the template to a paper plate. A 9 inch plate is recommended although you can use smaller like 7 inches but just cut the circle smaller.
Cut out your child’s photo to match the snowman and either glue or tape over the snowman’s face.
Now, add decorations such as snowflakes and blue sequins to the paper plate to create the wintery scene that we’re aiming for. If you don’t have those craft materials you can even use white sugar sprinkles or kosher salt for snow!
Step Two: Put the Globe Together
For this next step, take another paper plate and cut out the middle before gluing a clear plastic sheet over it. Place this over the first paper plate to make the globe. We used clear plastic sheets the kind you get at craft stores but you can also recycle plastic container tops!
Step Three: Create the Base
Next, cut out a black base template and glue it to a cardboard base to add some sturdiness before gluing it behind the bottom paper plate.

How to Personalize your Snowglobe
Add More Photos for a Personal Touch
A wonderful way to personalize your snow globe is to include more photos in it. Print out pictures of your loved ones or your favorite wintertime scenes.
After that, cut out the pictures and glue them onto the snow globe. Your snow globe will become even more unique as a result of the special touch of personalized holiday cheer.
Sprinkle Glitter Onto the Snowglobe
Glitter is a wonderful way to add a unique touch to your snow globe. For a more conventional appearance, use white glitter or colored glitter.
Glow-in-the-dark glitter can be a great idea as well, especially green glitter!
Write a Message for a Loved One
Another great way to make your snow globe extra special is to write a message on it. For example, write a message or a quotation on the paper plate using a permanent marker.
By doing this, you can see the special message and be reminded of the holiday spirit each time you look at your snow globe.
Make a Special Theme
Make a themed snow globe by using special trimmings and ornaments. You could, for instance, create a snow globe with a beach theme using beach-themed items.
You could also create a holiday theme using Christmas-themed items. This will give your snow globe a unique and memorable personality that will make it extra special.
