Being a little kid can lead to lots of emotions from happy, sad, confused, scared and more. Especially during Halloween when the occasion can be a bit spooky but also overwhelming for some kids.
Take the fright out of Halloween by presenting kids with these fun Monster Emotion Cards. They can be used any day of the year, but we thought they’d be especially fun during this ghoulish holiday.
All you need is our free printable template (download below) to get started. We recommend laminating them (we have and love this easy home laminator) and keeping them handy for kids to talk about their feelings.
Set up a clipboard and ask how the kids’ day went after school, and let them clip a card (or more) as it’s common to feel several emotions at once.
Use the cards to talk about hard feelings or situations; e.g. “how did you feel when this happened?”
