It’s no secret we are huge fans of pressed flower crafts around here! In fact, we’ve made pressed flower jars before but with real glass jars! These pressed flower bookmarks are also in the shape of jars but are meant to be used as bookmarks. They can also be used to write notes as a card or to sign your name as a cute gift tag! The bookmarks are super easy to create with our printable jars, pressed flowers, and contact paper. Read more below to get the full tutorial to make this lovely flower craft!

- Kraft printer paper
- Our printable jar template
- Pressed Flowers
- Contact Paper
- Scissors
- Pencil
- Ribbon/Twine
- Hole Punch

How to make pressed flower jar bookmarks
- Print out our printable jar template. We used brown Kraft printer paper so our jars are brown. You can use any color paper just note the jars will be the color of the paper you choose.
- Cut the jars out and the inside part.
- Cut a piece of contact paper the size of the jar and lay it sticky side down the back of the jar. Flip the jar right side up to add your flowers
- Carefully add pressed flowers on top of the sticky side of the contact paper.
- Cut another piece of contact paper the size of the middle of the jar to cover up your flowers so they are protected.
- Hole punch the top of the bookmark and thread twine through to create your bookmark.

What can you do with your flower bookmarks?
You can use them as suncatchers and decorative window decor as shown below! These make a really fun outdoor nature craft for the kids!

What else can you add in the jars?
With sticky contact paper, you can make this a fun sensory activity! Add pom poms, sequins or beads for a tactile craft. You can also make it a color learning activity by only adding one color items in each jar!
