This Paper Tube Valentine Bear Craft is the sweetest Valentine favor for kids! He’s so easy to make with a recycled paper tube.
We can’t resist a cute Valentine project and are in love with this sweet Paper Tube Valentine Bear Craft! If you haven’t noticed we’re smitten with Valentine bears and and have also made bear holding heart cards. This paper tube project is so easy to make with our FREE printable template (download below in our craft instructions card) and a recycled paper tube!
He also doubles as a sweet Valentine favor for kids! Just add some of your favorite Valentine candy in a cello bag and tie up in ribbon to add inside the bear!
What do you need to make this adorable Paper Tube Bear?
You will need colored paper cardstock, our FREE printable, scissors, glue and a paper tube. You’ll also need cello bags and ribbon to add some Valentine candy or treats! You can add a sweet personalized note by making a tiny paper envelope and writing a sweet message inside it!
After Valentine’s day, kids can use the bear as a paper tube pencil holder!

Colored paper (light and dark brown, cream pinks, black)
Scissors
Glue
Cello bag
Ribbon
Black fine tip marker

Paper Tube Bear Craft
Materials
- FREE printable template - download below in the craft instructions
- Colored paper (brown and cream)
- Scissors
- Glue
- Cello bag
- Ribbon
- Black fine tip marker
- Paper Tube
Instructions
- Print out the free template, cut and use to cut out the paper parts as shown in the video.
- Assemble your paper tube bear. Roll brown paper over the tube and glue. Glue the other parts of the body such as the head, arms, and paws. Draw in features like eyes.
- Turn a square piece of paper into an envelope by folding all 4 sides down. Write a note on a small piece of paper that will fit inside Glue on to the bear.
- Glue a piece of round cardstock to the bottom of the paper tube.
- Add candy inside a cello bag that will fit your paper tube and insert inside the tube. Tie off with a ribbon.
