How can you make this paper plate craft a fun learning project for kids?
What we love about this Easter paper craft is that you can use it for learning too! You can easily make the paper eggs certain colors and ask your child to drop them in the nest by color or call them out. You can add numbers or letters to the eggs as well and count them in the nest. For older kids you can write down sight words or do simple math equations. by adding numbers on eggs and adding (or subtracting) them.

PAPER PLATE EASTER CRAFT WITH MAMA HEN AND CHICK EGGS
Materials
- Two Paper plate
- Acrylic paint (you can use any colors we used pink and blue)
- Paint brush
- Scissors
- Glue
- Patterned papers
- Googly eyes,
- Craft bird feathers
- Raffia ribbon
- Free printable Template
Instructions
Step 1 Print out the template and use the shapes as stencils by cutting them out.
Step 2 Cut in half the paper plate and paint it blue. Paint another paper plate pink.
Step 3 Glue together the parts of the chicken face.
Step 4 Glue the chicken in the middle of the pink plate. Glue raffia under the chicken then glue on the half blue paper plate.
Step 5. Cut eggs out of patterned paper and place the eggs in the paper plate nest.
