This fun Paper Plate Bunny Easter Craft makes a cute craft for kids and is a fun Easter party favor! You can add Easter treats inside his pocket like candy, chocolate or eggs!
Easter is so fun for kids to make adorable crafts like bunnies or chicks! This paper plate bunny Easter Craft is super easy to make with our free printable template (download in our craft instruction card below). His overalls can be painted any color, although we love the color pink here.
What’s adorable about him are the cute buttons and pocket pouch to add a sweet Easter treat like candy, eggs or chocolate
Kids will love making this bunny easter craft to celebrate Easter coming this year. With many of us home, this is a fun way to encourage bonding with your children over a cherished holiday.
What do you need to make this bunny craft?
A white blank paper plate, paint, patterned paper, buttons, markers and scissors are the main craft materials you’ll need. This bunny art project is fun for little kids to explore painting too! the wide paper plate is great for broad strokes and doesn’t have to be too defined. Our simple shapes in the free printable template (download below in our craft instruction card) are great for practicing scissor cutting skills.

Scissors
Paintbrush,
Glue Stick

PAPER PLATE BUNNY EASTER CRAFT
Materials
- Paper plate
- Cardstock (White, Gray, Link Pink, Patterned)
- Scissors
- Paint brush,
- Glue Stick
- Pencil
- Pink Acrylic Paint
- Black Markers
- Two buttons
- Small candies/treats
- FREE printable template
Instructions
Watch the video in this post to see the step by step instructions.
Step 1
Cut out the template and draw around the appropriate parts on the colored papers and cut them out.
Step 2
Paint the paper plate pink (only a third of the plate).
Step 3
Glue together the parts of the bunny face. Draw the face of the bunny.
Step 4
Glue the pink stripe for the upper part of the plate to make the overalls. Glue on the buttons.
Step 5
Glue the pocket and fill with small treats.
Step 6
Glue the arms,legs and the head on the paper plate.
