Materials

Toilet paper tubes
Wrapping paper
Ribbon
Paper Confetti
Tape
Exacto knife
Scissors

Instructions

Cut the paper roll in half.
Wrap paper around it and secure with tape leaving paper on both ends to tie off.
Tie off one end with ribbon.
Add confetti inside the tube filling it up.
Tie off the other end with ribbon.
To make it easier for kids to crack open, lightly score the middle with an exacto knife. This is more important to do with stiffer wrapping paper vs. thin paper like tissue or crepe paper.
