What is a pop up card?
Pop-up cards are so much fun! The outside looks like a regular card, but then once the person opens it, there is something on the inside that “pops up.” Don’t be alarmed – it’s not in a scary way. It’s mainly in a 3D type effect where it’s up off the paper portion of the card just a little bit.

Tips for Making Homemade Cards
This fun activity for kids isn’t hard to do at all, but there are a few tips to keep in mind! Make sure that you’re nearby while making this St. Patrick’s Day craft for kids so that you can hop in and help as needed.
It’s also very important that you let the glue dry all the way before adding this to an envelope. The last thing that you want to have to happen is for the glue to dry the card together or even have it stick to the envelope.
Make sure to use the template! Since there are quite a few parts to this craft, the template really does help! It’s a simple way to stay on track and let the kids have a blast decorating and gluing it all together.
And don’t forget to make more than one of these cards! We LOVE to give homemade cards to neighbors and family, and friends. It’s such a simple way to brighten their day and let them know that we’re thinking of them. When you take the time to make it homemade, it really shows them that they were on your mind and that you took the time to create something specifically for them!
