What do you need to make a Paper Tube Heart Stamp?
While this craft totally looks like a ladybug, it looks like a heart, too! This is a fun way to have two crafts in one!
All you need to get started is an empty toilet paper roll, googly eyes, paint, and paper – that’s just about it! Help the kids shape the end of the toilet paper roll and let the stamping fun and creativity begin.
Since most of the activity is simple to do, let the kids be active for a lot of it. They’ll love being able to create and use their own creative skills as well. It’s fun seeing their confidence grow with crafts!
What can you use these ladybugs for?
So many fun things! They’re super cute to cover a piece of paper with and hang up on the fridge. But why stop there? You can also use them to create homemade cards to send to family and friends as well.
Just make sure that you let the paint dry before folding up or giving it to someone else.
And if you want to use the paper tube stamp as a heart, you can paint the hearts, cut them out, and use them to decorate, too.
Make sure that you help out with the project since hot glue is used to add the eyes! Besides, it’s always so much fun to create and craft together!
DIY Ladybug Toilet Paper Roll Craft – Materials:
- White paper
- Paint (red and black) acrylic paint
- Googly eyes
- Toilet paper roll
- Hot glue gun
- Paintbrush

2. Add red paint to a plate and then dip the heart portion of the tube into it.
3. Use that as a stamp and stamp the heart shape on paper. Stamp various to create multiple ladybugs.
4. Take your red and black paint and paint in the hearts to look like a ladybug.
5. Add the googly eyes with hot glue. You can use strong craft glue as well but just make sure the paint is dried before gluing the eyes on.
