How to make cookie cutter stamp art – flower bouquet
- Print the Template: Begin by printing the bouquet template onto your watercolor paper. You can use cardstock too. We don’t recommend regular copy paper as it’s too flimsy and the paint will go through.
- Prepare Your Paint: Squeeze and spread red and pink paint onto your palette. Spread it around to fit the cookie cutter.
- Stamp Your Hearts: Dip the edge of your heart-shaped cookie cutter into the paint, ensuring it’s evenly coated. Press the cookie cutter firmly onto the watercolor paper on top of the stems creating the outline of a heart. *Tip: stamp over the same shape if your first stamp isn’t as visible as you’d like. Repeat with both pink and red hearts until you have a full bouquet of heart ‘flowers.’ We chose to overlap the hearts. You can also use different sizes of heart cutters to create depth and dimension!
- Add Watercolors: Once the paint has dried, fill in the hearts with watercolors.
