Are your kids getting egg-cited for Easter crafting? This cute hatching chick card is so easy to make with our printable template and the fun reveal of the baby chick is so fun for kids! 

You can also grab the free printable coloring version so kids can design and color in their own hatching chick.

Use crayons, or markers (we love these brush markers that glide on easily when doing lots of coloring). 

You can have kids write a message on the chick to wish someone a happy Easter or a longer message on the back to hand out as Easter cards.

Similar to our Bunny Holding Egg craft, you could also tape a small piece of (flat) candy to the chick’s belly, so when kids open there is a fun Easter treat waiting!

Hatching Chick Craft With Coloring Template. Kids will love making this cute Easter paper craft that they can use as cards too!

Materials

Instructions

  1. Print and cut out our free template.
  2. If you are coloring, color the blank version.
  3. Add a small whole at the side of the egg and corresponding top, with scissors or a craft knife. Insert your brad to connect the two egg pieces.
  4. Tape or glue your chick in the egg.
