What we love about creating handprint art is how easy they are! All you need is paint, some markers and we make it even more simple with our printable! You can always make your own too, but we love giving people an option! Art should be easy and accessible!
How do you make ghost handprint art?
You’ll need to print out our FREE printable first (download below in our craft instruction card). The printable has a ‘B’ on it already in black. Your kids’ handprints will make the double Os! They will need to paint their hands with white paint and place them upside down the print. After the paint dries, all you need is to add eye and mouth details with a black marker.
What materials do you need to make this Halloween handprint art?
You’ll need:
- Our free printable (scroll down to download)
- Orange cardstock
- White acrylic paint
- Paintbrush
- Black paint marker (you can use a black Sharpie too, but we love paint markers for the vibrancy)
- Optionally you can glue the orange cardstock onto a piece of black 12″x12″ paper to create a more finished piece of art
What if I don’t have orange cardstock?
You can simply print out the printable in white and use any other paint color other than white to make the ghosts! Orange ghosts would be cute!
