What type of contact solution do you need for fluffy slime?

To make fluffy slime, you need a contact lens solution that contains boric acid and sodium borate, as these are the ingredients that help activate the slime and give it the right texture. Here are a few types of contact solutions that are commonly used for fluffy slime:

  1. Saline Solution with Boric Acid: Look for saline solutions labeled for sensitive eyes or multi-purpose. Just ensure it contains boric acid and sodium borate in the ingredients list.
  2. Renu Fresh or BioTrue: These brands are known to work well for slime because they have the necessary ingredients.

Always check the ingredients to make sure it contains both boric acid and sodium borate, as they are necessary for activating the slime.

What type of food coloring can you use for fluffy slime?

For making fluffy slime, you can use either liquid food coloring or gel food coloring:

  1. Liquid Food Coloring: It’s easy to mix and allows you to control the color by adding more drops. However, adding too much can slightly change the texture of the slime.
  2. Gel Food Coloring: Gel is more concentrated, so you only need a small amount for vibrant colors. It also doesn’t affect the texture as much since it adds less liquid.
