Chances are you’ve found your kids taking their socks or mittens and turning them into fun hand puppets. This was the spark behind Warmsters, a family-run business in London started by mom Helga. The idea for Warmster came about when Helga and her son were waiting for a bus on a cold winter day. The idea was to bring some fun to dreary days by giving mittens some character and life. Warmsters are a bit different from all the monster gloves you see around in that they can be “activated” by the child wearing them and hidden when not in character.
Currently, Warmsters are available in bold stripes, geometric designs and bright kid-friendly color combinations like blue, gray, pink, black and red. There are 3 sizes available (child 4-8 years, teen 9-13 years, and yes, even an adult size because we all know grown-ups can act like big kids sometimes). The gloves are designed to be super stretchy to fit to size.
