DIY WIRE BEAD HEART VALENTINE CARDS

Let the kids practice their fine motor skills with this wire beaded heart project that doubles as a fun Valentine favor kids can gift to their friends and loved ones!

All you need are some colorful beads, wire and cardstock. These make vibrant and fun Valentine cards for classmates or besties.

Wire Bead Heart Valentine Cards – Materials:

– Thin pliable wire
– Colorful beads (we also used small wooden beads)
Colored cardstock
Hole Punch
String
– Free printable “You’re The Bead To My Heart” tags (download HERE)
– Glue

Watch the video above to make these fun beaded heart Valentines or follow instructions below.

Step 1. Cut a small length of wire and start adding beads. When you are done (depending on how large you want your heart to be) twist it around as shown, cut off wire ends with scissors and form a heart shape.

Step 2. Cut your colored cardstock (we cut ours to 5″ x 5″ square). Print the free printable “You’re the Bead to My Heart” tags (download HERE) and cut out tags.

Step 3. Add two hole punches to the middle ends of the cardstock. Thread your beaded heart as shown with string (watch the video above for more details).

Step 4. Once your beaded hearts are secured, just glue on the tags and your Valentines are done!

Aren’t these so bright and fun? My daughter had a blast making these for her friends.
