We’re feeling both the effects of Valentine’s Day and spring coming up before you know it!
This sweet DIY Flower Vase Card is a cheerful flower bouquet you can give loved ones to bring a smile.
It’s great for a Valentine’s Day Card, but also as a special Mother’s Day Card or spring card kids can make.
Although the card looks just like something you would expect to buy from a fancy card company, it’s actually a cute card kids can make! Not convinced? Scroll all the way down to see my 9 year old daughter show you how step-by-step.
Toothpicks make a cute and easy stem for the flowers, and sticker letters are not only easy, but allow kids to come up with any punny saying!

DIY FLOWER VASE CARD – MATERIALS:
- white cardstock (one sheet, 8.5” x 11”)
- small craft flowers
- toothpicks
- Hot glue gun (a low temperature one is great for kids)
- Patterned paper
- Sticker letters

This sweet DIY Flower Vase Card is a cheerful flower bouquet you can give loved ones to bring a smile. It’s great for a Valentine’s Day Card, but also as a special Mother’s Day Card or spring card kids can make. Step 1. Measure and cut a 3" square out of your patterned paper. Step 2. Cut out a vase shape and fold 1/2" on the sides and bottom . Step 3: Fold the ends in and put a tiny dab of glue at all corners to make your vase 3-D Step 4: Attach your flowers to your toothpicks with a small dab of glue. Step 5: Fold a piece of white cardstock in half Step 6: Position your vase on your card and glue down. Step 7: Add flowers to your vase using small dabs of glue. Step 8: Add a fun quote or message with sticker letters.DIY FLOWER VASE CARD
