Ever since the kids and I started The Rainbow Rock Project, we’ve been inspired to craft with rocks even more than usual! Rocks are such open-ended items for kids to use in play and learning. They’re also easy to find and a great excuse to go on a hike or nature walk to gather some. We created these easy alphabet letters with cool designs to encourage literacy and letter learning. All you need to do is print and paste to get started with our free printable letters!
Materials:
– Mod Podge or white glue diluted in water
– Rocks
– Exacto knife
– Free Printable Letters (download below)
Instructions:
Print out the letters on sticker paper. Cut around the letters with an exacto knife. Peel the sticker backing and attach letters to the rocks. Layer on a thin coating of Mod Podge or white glue diluted with water to (just use your fingers) to seal the letters and prevent them from un-peeling. That’s it!
Enjoy your alphabet rocks amd learn letters or make words with them. You can print and make as many letters as you’d like!
