We love easy, cute and simple kids’ crafts so were thrilled to recently receive a copy of Low-Mess Crafts for Kids: 72 Projects To Create Your Own Magical Worlds by one of our favorite creative bloggers, Debbie Chapman from One Little Project.
We’re already huge fans of One Little Project’s adorable and incredibly easy crafts! This is why, as my kids and I thumbed through Debbie’s charming book, we immediately zoomed in to this cute lion craft. As we were reading the materials list we were like “check, check, check.” We basically had all the items in our craft drawers and if you have little ones who love to craft, we bet you do too.

CUTE PAPER TUBE LION CRAFT: MATERIALS:
- One piece of construction paper (yellow)
- 1 Toiler paper roll
- 1 foam ball (slightly larger than the opening in a toiler paper roll)
- 1 scrap of yellow tissue paper
- 5 pipe cleaners (yellow, orange, brown and/or orange or comparable colors)
- 2 medium googly eyes
- 5 yellow pom poms (2 medium, 2 small, and 1 very small)
TOOLS:
- Scissors
- Tape
- Glue Stick
- Washable marker (black)
- Crafter’s tape
