MEET THE ARTIST BOOK SERIES FOR KIDS

Meet the Artist! is a series of children’s art books from Princeton Architectural Press that brings the world of fine art to children in a fun and interactive way. This is done through the use of pop-ups, removable artwork, and interactive flaps and tabs. There are also art activity suggestions and materials to extend the learning and creativity outside of the book.

Each Meet the Artist! book starts with extensive research into the artist’s life and work. The first two books in the series spotlight on Alexander Calder and Pablo Picasso. Both books are written by Patricia Geis, who is a combination author, illustrator, and graphic designer. A third on Matisse, also written by Geis, is slated to be released this October, 2014.
