You can use fresh flowers and let them dry naturally or use dried, silk or paper flowers. We chose to use some fresh blooms from a bouquet we had handy.
Flower Handprint Wreath – Materials:
– Cardstock
– Scissors
– Glue
– Flowers
– Ribbon
Step 1. Trace your child’s hand onto cardstock and cut out. Use as a template to cut out more handprints. Decide how large you want your wreath to be and cut out the number of handprints needed to make that size.
Step 2. Lay out your handprint in a circular overlapping fashion to make a wreath shape. Glue the handprints together.
Step 3. Start laying flowers over the center of handprint wreath. First arrange them so you have a design you like. Then you can glue them on.
You can tie a pretty ribbon around your finished wreath and hang up to admire!
