SPRING EASTER FRUIT FLOWER PUDDING TREAT

Thank you to Horizon for sponsoring this post.

It’s officially spring and the kids and I are excited for warmer weather, flowers blooming, and Easter! We decided to incorporate some of our favorite snacks into one delicious treat that’s not only adorable, but also an easy dessert for your Easter party or brunch.

My kids are big fans of Horizon Snacks and one of their favorites are the biite sized Cinnamon Snack Grahams made with organic wheat. Not only are they tasty they’ve got 8 grams of whole grains per serving. We’re often packing them up for lunch or snacks on the go.

We decided to crush some of the grahams to resemble “dirt” and make these easy pudding treats with Easter candy eggs and fruit flowers. A simple Easter treat that’s also fun for kids to help make in the kitchen! Find out how to make these kid-approved treats below.

Spring Easter Fruit Flower Pudding Treat – Ingredients:

Horizon Snack Grahams (we used Cinnamon flavor but they also have chocolate and honey flavors)
– Chocolate pudding
– Easter candy eggs
– Strawberry and kiwi fruit
– Flower cookie cutter
– Toothpicks
– Clear plastic cups

You’ll also need a plastic zipper bag and something to crush the snack grahams like a kitchen mallet or small food processor.

Instructions:

Step 1. Crush your snack grahams to resemble “dirt.” Kids love doing this part!

Step 2. Slice your kiwi and strawberry about 1/2″ thick wide. Use your cookie cutter to cut out kiwi flowers and a sharp knife cut out small triangles for your strawberry to resemble a tulip. Insert a toothpick to each flower fruit. The cookie cutter part is something kids can easily help make, but save the knife for the adults.

Step 3. Layer pudding into your plastic cup about 2/3 of the way full. Add some of the crushed graham on top.

Step 4. Add some candy Easter eggs and fruit flowers on top of the pudding cups and you’re done!

Don’t these edible gardens make the most delightful Spring or Easter treats? My kids loved eating them as much as they liked making them. They especially had fun crushing the snack grahams!

What are some of your kids’ favorite Easter treats?
